About Projecis

Projecis is a cloud-based knowledge convergence platform that enables project stakeholders to easily and securely connect teams, organize data, and disseminate information. By providing timely, detailed intelligence, archived project history and tools to measure progress, project teams have the information they need to make better decisions. From anywhere, at any time, users can access project status, cost measures, task lists, files, data, member profiles (including LinkedIn®), a meeting center, and professionally produced video news updates about their projects. Team dialogue is improved with Communication 2.0 features including options for connecting with members over Skype®, IM/chat, email, text, landline or mobile phone.

Projecis is particularly useful for project managers in industries where data collection, diverse teams and varied and multiple deadlines are inherent such as clinical research, software development and entertainment production.

Founded in 2009

Projecis was developed by Russell Holmes, an entrepreneur with experience in biotech and software development, as well as producing films. Holmes previously co-founded Synteract, a privately held, global contract research organization (CRO), where he directed technology, database services, software development and finance. Today Synteract generates $70 million in revenue annually. Over the course of his career, Holmes noticed many projects struggled to reach stated goals due to such factors as lack of effective team communication, timely data alerts, and an inability to track key history for future work consideration. He knew such problems were prevalent in any field with large teams and intricate data (content) collection, so through Projecis, his team has created a cloud-based platform that provides the tools teams need to connect, clarify, communicate and succeed.
